Editorial and medical review policy
Last updated
This page explains how the health content on this website is produced and checked, so you can judge how much to trust it.
Who writes the content
Condition pages, articles and guides are drafted by the site's content team using standard medical references and the practice's clinical experience. Drafting may be assisted by AI tools to organise and simplify language. AI-assisted drafting is never published without human medical review: every medical page is reviewed by Dr. James Kumar Pallivathukkal before it goes live, and nothing he has not approved is presented as medical information.
Review standards
Before a medical page is published, Dr. James checks that it is:
- Factually accurate and consistent with current practice.
- Educational and general, with no treatment protocols or drug names.
- Free of promises, claims of superiority, or anything that could mislead.
- Compliant with Omani health advertising expectations.
Each medical page carries a "last reviewed" date and the reviewer's name. Pages are re-checked when medicine changes, when a reader flags a problem, and at least periodically as part of site maintenance.
Sources
Content is based on established clinical knowledge and standard references rather than individual studies or news headlines. The site deliberately avoids quoting statistics that cannot be reliably sourced.
What we never publish
- Patient testimonials, reviews or star ratings.
- Claims of cures, guarantees or superiority over other doctors.
- Drug or device brand names in educational content.
- Sponsored or paid-for medical content. No outside party pays for or influences what appears on this site.
Corrections
If a clinical or factual error is found, the page is corrected promptly and the change reflected in the last-reviewed date. To flag an error, contact us at omanjamesp@gmail.com or call +968 9751 0975.
Independence
The site is funded and operated by the practice itself. There is no advertising, no sponsored content, and no sale of reader attention.
